This 1-bedroom apartment is to rent on Schillingstr. in Cologne. The south-oriented property is on the first floor of a building without an elevator and includes a 30m2 terrace for private use.
Object description
The rent includes electricity, heating, internet and furnishing, as well as free use of the washing machine in the basement.
This flat has been completely renovated.
The absolute highlight of this flat is the approx. 30 m² roof terrace. This is not included in the living space. Quietly situated towards the inner courtyard and facing south, you can spend beautiful hours here.
The open-plan kitchen/living room is extremely spacious. Through the double French doors you enter another small balcony facing the inner courtyard.
The kitchenette is new and fully equipped. In addition, a separate storage room has been created.
In the sleeping area there is a large double bed with lighting elements.
The flat is furnished ready to move in only with a suitcase, no further inventory needs to be taken care of. Bed linen and towels can be provided on request.
Location description
The Agnesviertel is one of the most sought-after city centre locations in Cologne.
The building dates from the 1950s - many flats have been completely renovated in recent years. There is no lift.
It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the Agnesviertel to the cathedral. Cologne Zoo and the Flora, the botanical garden, are also not far away.
On the lively Neusser Straße you can do your shopping and in the Alte Feuerwache (old fire station) on Sudermanplatz, now a community centre, people meet for a Kölsch in the evening and at the weekend.
In Weißenburgstraße, with its plane trees and small bistros, there is even a touch of southern French lifestyle.
The Ebertplatz stop of the KVB is only a few minutes' walk away. Lines 16, 18, 12 and 15 leave from here, and Cologne Central Station is only one stop away.
